“I regret having professional pictures done.”

-No One Ever

I know you what you are thinking - “Cool joke, bro.” But seriously, scroll through your instagram feed. How many pictures are there of your family? Now how many of those ALSO include you? That aren’t selfies? The number is dwindling, isn’t it? Now add in amazing light and genuine laughs. See where I’m going with this? Part of this gig as humans is to make relationships and foster them. That’s easy. Second nature, right? Now try remembering these relationships. Try remembering your toddler’s curls in the summer humidity. Try remembering the way you looked at your newborn baby, or the way your spouse looked at you looking at your newborn baby. It gets hard. Life gets in the way. Children grow and memories fade, as much as we hate to admit this to ourselves. Enter photographs. Memories frozen in time for you to enjoy for decades to come, and then to be handed down to the next generation. Again and again and again and again.
